Getting a home inspection allows the buyer to receive an unbiased, professional opinion to help determine the house’s current condition. An inspection will help uncover any immediate conditions that need to be addressed and touch on areas that could become a problem in the future. This helps save money both immediately and in the future while also helping greatly with any settlement negotiations.

(A) The inspection price is determined by the size and age of the home. The cost of any additional testing (ex: radon) performed at the time of the inspection will be added to the price. (A) Each residential inspection is a non-invasive, visual examination of the accessible areas of a residential property which is designed to identify defects within specific systems and components defined by the InterNACHI Standards of Practice.

(A) Most inspections take an average of 2-4 hours, depending on the size of the home and what is being inspected. The inspection time can vary based on the condition and age of the property. 

(A) Although not required, we invite you to be present during the inspection. Being at the inspection allows you to see what the inspector is finding and to ask any questions. Attending is not always possible for many people due to time constraints, so rest assured you will be provided with a detailed report, whether you’re present or not. (A) On average, inspection reports are digitally prepared and emailed within 24 hours of the inspection, often times the same day. Turnaround times will vary based on the complexity of the inspection.
